After a successful bake with this new dough yesterday, I thought I’d try something a little more elaborate. The first layer was a parsley pesto – which I clearly didn’t make enough of. The fresh mozz I’ve been working with has been horrible. Last time I buy that crap. There’s a style of pie that puts the cheese first then the sauce. This has always been difficult for me to spread on top of the cheese. This time I thought I’d pipe it on and it worked out great.
